Black Brook Capital specializes in investing in projects and companies who are not traditionally bankable, but have the equity and experience to be a sound investment. 

All loans are kept in-house, which offers us flexibly that traditional lenders can’t match, and often lower rates compared to other hard money lenders in our market.

THE LOAN

All of our customers are companies, and most are involved in real estate.  People who are developers, builders, or “flippers” use our loans when they do not have enough money to fund the project in cash, have an issue accessing traditional credit, or may have a penalty for accessing money.

For the same reasons, buy-and-hold investors would use this type of loan to repair and stabilize a property before refinancing with a traditional financial institution in order to maximize cash on cash return or if a property is not in a condition where it can be financed at purchase.

Our loan terms are typically 6 months and are very competitive in the local market.
